As an Executive Assistant, Emma spent nine years working with real estate agencies in the Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, and Lower North Shore.
In this role, she crossed the threshold of countless homes. While assisting hundreds of clients with the preparation and process of selling residential property, she gained a profound understanding of the complexities and stress throughout the process.
Working closely with stylists while making recommendations for clients, the creative side of real estate ignited Emma’s passion for property styling, leading her to explore this as a career.
Combining her administrative background and careful, thoughtful approach to every project, Emma eventually transitioned into a management role for a property styling company before co-founding The Casa Stylist.

STYLING TO SELL
Our property styling transforms homes into beautifully curated spaces that captivate buyers. With a keen eye for design and a commitment to excellence, we tailor each project to enhance a property's best features and create a lasting impression.

Step 1: Consultation
Reach out via the form below to receive a complimentary quotation. During our consultation, we will assess your property with an objective eye and discuss the furniture options we recommend to enhance your space. Within 24 hours, you will receive a bespoke styling proposal and detailed quotation along with a list of suggested actions to complete before the styling process begins.
Step 2: Confirmation
Once you have accepted our quotation and signed the terms and conditions, a tax invoice will be issued to confirm your booking. We kindly request a minimum of one week's notice to schedule the furniture installation.
Step 3: Installation Day
On your selected date, our truck will arrive, delivering a consciously selected array of beautiful furniture and homewares. Our team will carefully move the items into your property, with a stylist attending to every detail to ensure the placement of each object is impeccable. The installation process can require between 3 to 8 hours. The items will remain in your home for a minimum rental period of 6 weeks. If required, extensions are available in accordance with our terms and conditions.
Step 4: Collection Day
Once you've celebrated the sale of your property with a glass of champagne, our team or your real estate agent will be in touch to arrange the removal of the furnishings.

Our bespoke decoration services help clients who lack the time or desire to style their home or asset. From concept to installation, we curate, source and select pieces that align with your property’s style and functionality. This seamless experience is ideal for those needing custom furniture for a new home or preparing a furnished investment property for short- or long-term letting.
Our service includes post-purchase storage to keep pieces in pristine condition, as well as delivery, installation, and packaging disposal for a hassle-free process. From ideation to completion, we manage every detail to unveil a beautifully styled, turn-key home.

We design the rooms’ layout, considering traffic flow, furniture arrangement, and functional needs to optimise the use of available space.
Step 4: Budget Planning
Balancing quality and style while managing client expectations, we outline an estimated budget for your project.
Step 5: Material & Furniture Selection
We carefully hand-select furniture, lighting, fabrics, flooring, accessories, and décor elements that align with your chosen concept.
Step 6: Colour Scheme & Finishes
We finalise paint colours, wall treatments, flooring options and other finishes to enhance your design theme.
Step 7: Sourcing & Procurement
We purchase or order all materials, furnishings, and décor items, ensuring availability and delivery schedules.
Step 8: Furniture & Décor Installation
We arrange furniture, hang artwork, place accessories and add final touches to bring your vision to life.
Step 9: Final Styling & Staging
To ensure your space looks polished and cohesive, we make adjustments and add greenery or textiles, ready for a spectacular reveal.

We offer personalised guidance to help you maximise the potential of your existing space. This tailored service is designed for those who seek a refreshed, more functional look, without the need for a full redesign of their interiors.
We visit your property to assess the current layout and furniture, providing expert recommendations to enhance the flow and functionality of your home. Our team will then suggest which pieces to keep, discard or purchase and how to rearrange a layout that will highlight the property’s prime features and ensure your space presents in its best light.

The total hire period for our property installations is 6 weeks, including two complimentary weeks.

To secure an installation date, we require payment in full, as well as a signed document to acknowledge that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions. Please note that the furniture required will not be reserved until the completed paperwork has been returned and payment has been received.

We do not offer refunds if your property sells prior to the end of the 6 week hire period. Our property styling is designed to enhance your property’s appeal and showcase it in its best light to support a swift sale period and achieve the best possible result for your property.

In the event that your home does not sell within the 6-week hire period, we offer weekly extensions designed to align with the duration of your property’s sale campaign. Simply contact us at hello@thecasastylist.com and we will work with you and the real estate agent representing your home to finalise the finer details and the process.

Not to worry - the show will go on! Our installation window may take a touch longer as we proceed carefully through the wet weather, but we are committed to fulfilling the agreed upon timing, as long as the weather conditions allow our team to work safely.

Unfortunately, we do not allow clients to select the furniture that will be installed in their property. As qualified stylists, our expertise lies in curating the perfect pieces that will enhance your property and appeal to your target market. Rest assured, we will style your home beautifully to ensure it stands out, attracts the right buyers and is showcased impeccably to achieve outstanding results.

You can book property styling directly with us, or your real estate agent can handle the entire process if you prefer. Both options are available and you are welcome to choose the process that is most convenient for you.
